![]() ![]() It has already been revealed that the physical version of the game will need to be partially downloaded on Switch, but the size highlighted on the eshop pertains to the digital version. Understandably so as that will not sit well with those excited about playing the games on the go. If that is the case, Rockstar is keeping incredibly quiet about it. ![]() It's possible that the Switch version of the game won't be as good or detailed as the Xbox one. When it comes to why you'll need almost twice as much storage space on Xbox for the trilogy than you will do on Switch, well, that remains unclear. Once again, Rockstar has said multiple updates will be released. While not yet confirmed, it stands to reason that PlayStation's requirements will be almost the same, if not identical to the ones for Xbox. These are the current Switch versions of each game: San Andreas - Version 1.0.2, GTA III - Version 1.0.2, Vice City - Version 1.0.3. 45GB on PC according to Rockstar, and a little more again at 49GB on Xbox. ![]() The trouble is, the size of the trilogy appears to be quite a bit more on other platforms. For comparison, GTA 5 currently needs about four times as much free space. Plus, on any other platform, 25.4GB is barely anything at all. We say only, that's actually a heck of a lot of room for a Switch game. According to the trilogy's eshop listing, the collection will only occupy 25.4GB of storage space. ![]()
